What is caprylic acid?
Caprylic acid is the English name for caprylic acid, also known as octanoic acid or C8-MCT oil. It is a medium-chain saturated fatty acid [1] and is found in coconut oil and cheese, for example. Plants in which caprylic acid is found include sage, thyme and ginger. [2]
