What is Methyl Folate from Jarrow Formulas?
Methyl Folate from JarrowFormulas contains an active form of folic acid (vitamin B9) in the form of (6S)-5-methyltetrahydrofolate glucosamine salt of Quatrefolic®.
Quatrefolic® is a patented form of methylfolate, which is characterized by a higher bioavailability . In addition, this form is 100% vegan and has been manufactured in accordance with all applicable international hygiene and quality standards[1].
The product Jarrow Formulas, Meth yl Folate is gluten-free, soy-free and contains no genetically modified ingredients.
What is methyl folate?
Methylfolate is the natural form of vitamin B9 found in foods such as green leafy vegetables, wholegrain products and eggs . It is the bioactive form of folic acid.
