Glutathione is the most abundant intracellular thiol (i.e. a compound containing a sulfhydryl [SH] group) and a low molecular weight tripeptide present in living cells. Thiols such as glutathione, alpha-lipoic acid and N-acetyl-L-cysteine (NAC) are potent sulfur-containing antioxidants. The antioxidant functions of reduced glutathione include recycling vitamins E and C and serving as critical free radical scavengers to support antioxidation in all types of tissues.

Other ingredients: cellulose, magnesium stearate (vegetable source) and silicon dioxide. Capsule consists of hydroxypropyl methylcellulose.
