What is glutathione?
Glutathione (GSH) is a sulphur-containing tripeptide (protein molecule) made up of three amino acids :
- Glutamic acid
- glycine
- cysteine
The tripeptide can be produced by the body itself in the liver . It has good bioavailability due to its solubility in water . Glutathione is also characterized by its antioxidant properties , with which it can neutralize free radicals [1].
A protein-rich diet can support the body's own production of L-glutathione . However, there are also good sources of glutathione among foods: Avocados, broccoli, potatoes, tomatoes and more[2].

USE
