NOW Papaya Enzyme Lozenges
When you buy a can of Now Foods Chewable Papaya Enzyme , you get 360 papaya enzyme lozenges. Each dose contains 100 mg papain from papaya, 80 mg papapya fruit powder, 20 mg bromelain from the pineapple plant and 20 mg protease.
What is NOW® Papaya Enzyme and what effect does it have?
If the skin of the papaya is still greenish, a relatively high concentration of the papain enzyme can be found here and in the seeds of the papaya fruit.[1]For NOW Chewable Papaya Enzyme , unripe, spray-dried papaya powder is used, which guarantees a high papain content.
Like protease and bromelain, the papain enzyme is a proteolytic enzyme. They help to make proteins usable for the body[2, 3].
For the NOW Papaya Enzyme formula, lipase, cellulase and alpha-amylase have also been added for a full spectrum of enzymatic activity.
NOW® Papaya Enzyme lozenges have a refreshing taste and are also useful as a mint breath freshener.
Natural color variations may occur with this product.

- Papain 100mg (200000 USP)
- Papaya fruit powder 80mg
- Bromelain 20mg (48 GDU)
- Protease 20mg (10 FCC)
- Lipase 2mg (20 USP)
- Cellulase 0.6mg (2.4 FCC)
- Alpha-amylase 2mg (50 USP)
Ingredients: Papain (from papaya, 2000 USP/mg), papaya fruit powder, bromelain (from pineapple, 2400 GDU/g), protease (500 FCC/g), lipase (10000 USP/g), cellulase (4000 FCC/g), alpha-amylase (25000 USP/g), anti-caking agent: Stearic acid (vegetable source), magnesium salts of fatty acids (vegetable source), silicon dioxide; peppermint leaf powder, peppermint oil, sodium copper chlorophyllin (chlorophyll).

APPLICATION
Now Foods recommends adults purchase or dissolve two (2) lozenges in the mouth after meals or as needed. For children (over 4 years) it is recommended to chew or dissolve one (1) lozenge in the mouth after meals or as required - Or as advised by your healthcare practitioner.
