What is Now Foods Iron Complex?
With Now Foods Iron Complex you get a unique iron complex for which iron has been combined with its important co-nutrients (vitamin B12, folate, vitamin C) and supplementary herbal substances (dong quai and red raspberry).
Ferrochel®, a patented, bioavailable form of iron, was used in the manufacture of NOW Iron Complex Tablets. Ferrochel® is a chelated iron amino acid bound to two glycine molecules. This chelated form of iron offers a particularly high bioavailability of iron that is very well tolerated.
Ferrochel® is a registered trademark of Albion Laboratories, Inc. Albion is one of the largest manufacturers of patented amino acid chelated minerals. With the help of a patented chelation process, the bioavailability and thus the effectiveness of their nutrients are improved.
