What is milk thistle?
Milk thistle belongs to the Asteraceae family and is native to Southern Europe, North Africa and Western Asia , where it flowers between June and September . The plant prefers dry soils along roadsides.
The valuable constituents of milk thistle seeds include silymarin (1.5 - 3 percent), isosilibinin, silychristin and silydianin. It also contains bitter substances, tannins, essential oils and fatty acids [1].

Ingredients: Milk thistle seed extract (Silybum marianum; standardized to 80% silymarin), dandelion root (Taraxum officinale), artichoke leaf (Cynara scolymus), coating agent: hydroxypropyl methylcellulose (capsule); bulking agent: microcrystalline cellulose; anti-caking agent: silicon dioxide, magnesium salts of fatty acids (vegetable source).
