What is Boswellia?
Boswellia extract is obtained from the frankincense tree . The frankincense tree grows in arid regions in East Africa, Arabia and India.[1] Frankincense resin contains important active ingredients such as boswellic acid and essential oil. These active ingredients are often used in various cosmetic products [2].
What is curcumin?
Curcumin is a well-known colorant that is extracted naturally from the turmeric root or can be produced synthetically [3].
It is one of the four important curcuminoids, i.e. fat-soluble secondary plant substances in turmeric.
